Leeds United’s Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest have axed Sean Dyche as head coach.
Remarkably, Forest are now on the hunt for their fourth manager of the season after Dyche became the third to depart.
In October, the 54-year-old replaced Ange Postecoglou, who had only taken the place of Nuno Espirito Santo a month prior.
Dyche has now been shown the door less than a week after his side fell to a 3-1 defeat to Leeds at Elland Road.

Nottingham Forest axe Sean Dyche
The result was followed by a goalless draw with rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers last night (February 11), which prompted Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis into action.
A club statement read: “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.
“We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the club and we wish them the best of luck for the future. We will be making no further comment at this time.”
The battle for Premier League survival
Forest sit three points above the relegation zone in 17th, three points above 18th-placed West Ham United.
Leeds are three points above Forest in 15th, having pushed Tottenham Hotspur into 16th with a draw at Chelsea.
Sacking season in the Premier League
Sacking a manager in a relegation battle can prove risky but rolling the dice is sometimes required in order for safety to be secured.

Leeds will be hoping neither Spurs or Forest enjoy a ‘new manager bounce’ that enables them to steer clear of the drop zone.
According to the BBC, ex-Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is being lined up to become Forest’s fourth head coach of the campaign.
