Kim Little has been named January’s Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month.
Shortly after making her 400th appearance for Arsenal, our club captain was recognised for a brilliant start to 2026, in which she completed every minute in the WSL, helping us to two clean sheets and four points acros games against Manchester United and Chelsea.
Kim was the engine of our midfield against United, keeping the tempo high as we chased an opening goal against the ten-player Red Devils.
Our captain was also a vital part of our outstanding defensive effort against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge as we secured our first win at the Blues' home ground.
She beat five other nominated players to this award, namely Anneke Borbe, Jenna Clarke (Liverpool), Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa), Kerolin Nicoli (Manchester City) and Jess Park (Manchester United).
