Speculation regarding Sandro Tonali’s future at Newcastle United has emerged in recent weeks.
There were no signs of transfer speculation or agent talk written on Sandro Tonali’s face as Jacob Ramsey snatched all three points for Newcastle United.
Footage has emerged from the Toon dugout as the Magpies re-established their lead. Newcastle broke the deadlock in the first half before being pegged back by Archie Gray’s equaliser.
Eddie Howe’s men weathered a 15-minute storm before taking control again through Ramsey’s well-timed finish. Pandemonium erupted in the away end at North London, with Newcastle holding on to earn a deserved three points.

Interestingly, a certain Italian maestro also erupted in celebration from the bench. A lot of the noise in recent weeks surrounding Tonali has centred around his future.
His agent, Beppe Riso, told Italian media that he will discuss Tonali’s future in the coming months. It has not gone unnoticed by supporters that the 25-year-old’s performances have dipped in recent weeks.
But there was no debating Tonali’s black-and-white loyalties when Ramsey secured all three points. Fresh footage shows the midfielder with a smile as wide as the Tyne as fist-pumping the winner alongside Toon teammate Jacob Murphy.

Tonali’s agent left the door open for a potential summer exit when speaking to the press earlier this month. On deadline day amid rumoured Arsenal interest, he suggested negotiations would soon take place with Newcastle.
"Newcastle are having a hard time letting go of Sandro and he wants to lead the club to the Champions League,” he told TuttoSport. “These transfer discussions will take place later. We’ll see how the season ends and then we’ll decide what to do.
“There’s no preference at the moment. It’s still early. What we’re saying today won’t apply tomorrow. Newcastle couldn’t let him go now, and there’s no point in moving, especially since Sandro is very attached to the club. We’ll evaluate and decide what to do in the summer.”
