Lewis Miley: The Magpies academy graduate has missed the last three matches with an apparent dead leg. He could be in contention to return this weekend.
Joelinton: The Brazil international is expected to miss the trip to Aston Villa with a thigh problem.
Emil Krafth: The versatile Swedish defender has been ruled out until late February with a knee injury. He’s struggled with fitness issues throughout the campaign.
Valentino Livramento: The England international is currently nursing a thigh injury which is likely to keep him out until mid-March.

Matty Cash: The talented right-back is likely to miss the home clash with Newcastle United. He’s believed to be nursing a small injury, but the severity is still being assessed by the medical team.
Andres Garcia: The Spanish defender is still recovering from a thigh injury. He’s unlikely to be back in action until late February.
