**Between now and the summer, we're going to get a lot of stories around big clubs coming for Sandro Tonali at the end of the season as the Newcastle United midfielder's commitment to the club comes into question.**
Whether we like it or not ... and we don't, Sandro Tonali's future is massively up for debate right now, thanks to the deadline day speculation of a move to Arsenal opening the floodgates last week.
Even though the story was dismissed as quickly as it appeared, Tonali's agent Giuseppe Riso has done little to quell the flames with his comments. It seems Riso is adamant he wants a move for Tonali this summer.
That doesn't mean that Tonali wants a move, by the way. By all accounts, Tonali is happy at Newcastle, even Riso mentioned that, but it seems his agent wants another payday.

The Sandro Tonali speculation isn't going to go away
Italian media are at it again
-----------------------------
The latest club linked with a move for Sandro Tonali is Real Madrid, who, according to [TuttoJuve](https://www.tuttojuve.com/calciomercato/tonali-infiamma-il-mercato-estivo-il-real-madrid-pronto-all-assalto-newcastle-avvisato-766346) are readying a £65 million summer swoop for the Italy international.
If they honestly think that £65 million is enough to sign a player widely regarded as 'world-class', then they are in for a big shock.
Newcastle paid £55 million for Tonali in 2023, and his stock has risen massively since then, even in spite of recent questionable form, so there's no way Newcastle would settle for just a £10 million profit on a player they hold in such high regard.
Real Madrid may have to dig a bit deeper if they seriously want Tonali
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reports last week spoke of an asking price between £80 million and £100 million, which seems a lot more realistic. £65 million feels insulting.
However, we're not putting much stock in this report to begin with, as once again, the source is the Italian media, who just write whatever they want and to hell with facts.
We aren't convinced Newcastle will keep hold of Tonali this summer. It does feel like the writing is on the wall for an exit, but the club will certainly not let him go on the cheap.
