Spurs & Forest are panicking that West Ham will catch them

**West Ham’s recent run of excellent form is causing others to seriously worry that they are getting dragged into the bottom three.**

It wasn’t long ago that our Hammers looked dead & buried, with many feeling it was inevitable that we’d be playing in the Championship next season.

Now although that could very much be the case still, we have a real fighting chance of pulling off another great escape.

A run which has seen the club collect 4 wins, 1 draw and a defeat in the last 6 games in all competitions has breathed hope & belief back into the club – and in turn having others seriously worried.

Both Spurs and Nottingham Forest are panicking so much that both have this week sacked their managers – in the desperate hope they can turn around their dire form and keep away from our chasing Irons.

Speaking of the current situation, The West Ham Way Podcast duo Dave Walker and ExWHUEmployee have shared their thoughts on what is shaping up to be an intense battle to remain in the top flight this season.

“Teams are starting to get desperate now and it must be down to the mighty West Ham,” said Walker.

“I think both Tottenham and Forest need to take a deeper look at their clubs because there are clearly bigger issues than the managers.”

Ex agreed and says he’s not convinced that changing managers will have much impact at this stage.

“It was a good result for us yesterday with Forest only being able to draw a Wolves but it has now prompted the sacking of Dyche,” added Ex. “The fact that both Spurs and Forest have done this in the last day shows how worried they are about their relegation situation.

“Whilst I would have rather both managers had stayed as I don’t want them to get a new manager bounce, will it make that much difference.

“In recent years Spurs have had: Antonio Conte, José Mourinho, Ange Postecoglou and Thomas Frank all came with good reputations before Spurs and all struggled so I’m hoping the problem is much more deep routed for them than the manager and it won’t make a difference.

“The same could be said for Forest, if ever there was a manager suited for a relegation scrap it’s Sean Dyche so it will be interesting to see who their eccentric chairman thinks is a better option.

“Hopefully it will make no difference to their form. There are also a few clubs above them who are not safe either. We just need to keep up this level of performance and the rest will take care of itself.”
