West Ham finally have something to cheer about in their Premier League campaign.
The Hammers have taken 10 points from their last five matches, including a recent draw against high-flying Manchester United, lifting them to within three points of safety.
Meanwhile, closest rivals Nottingham Forest continue to struggle, having now sacked their third managers of the season in Sean Dyche.
Despite the encouraging form, there’s now some concerning news for fans regarding one of West Ham’s key players.

Former West Ham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that retaining top talent could become difficult if the club were relegated.
Crysencio Summerville, described as “outstanding” by Alan Shearer, has been in excellent form, scoring four goals in his last five Premier League games.
The 24-year-old’s performances, however, have attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, who were reportedly rebuffed in January.
“West Ham will have real problems if they go down,” Brown said. “It becomes incredibly difficult to keep hold of your best players, because they all want to be on top money and playing in the Premier League. Summerville is going to be one of those, I expect, because he’s showing recently he can perform in the Premier League and so there will be interest in him.”
On the potential for a summer exit, he added: “There is every chance they could go down and then if offers come in for players like Summerville, I think they might be forced to let him go.”
While West Ham’s form gives hope of survival, the reality is clear: keeping their rising star could prove a major challenge if relegation fears materialise.
