It looks very much as though Nottingham Forest have settled on Vitor Pereira as the man to replace Sean Dyche as the new head coach.
Owner Evangelos Marinakis has moved quickly to replace Dyche after he was sacked following a drab 3-1 defeat away at Leeds and a 0-0 draw at home to Wolves.
Vitor Pereira is set for the Nottingham Forest job as Sean Dyche’s replacement. Are you happy wit the appointment?

It was claimed earlier today that Pereira was the favourite for the Forest job and now it looks as though the club have moved to get things sorted pretty sharpish.
What the current squad at Forest needs is some confidence instilling into them and there is one player in particular who would surely relish the chance to work with Pereira.

Murillo could thrive under Vitor Pereira
Clearly, Murillo was struggling to recapture his best form under the management of Dyche, with his tactic often being to give the ball to Murillo and demand that he smacks it long.
The body language of the Brazilian suggested he didn’t like playing this way, and it will be great for Pereira to bring fresh ideas to the squad ahead of the final 12 games of the season.
Pereira is a more expansive manager than Dyche was, and as a result, it seems highly unlikely that he will be playing too many long balls, and if he does mix it up, it’s likely that he won’t be punting needless balls downfield.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Murillo could really thrive if Pereira decides to go with the three central defender system that so often served him well with Wolves and he could have a lot of fun with Murillo.
Pereira often encourages his central defenders to play out from the back, and ultimately, that could be music to the ears of Murillo, who looked thoroughly dejected with Dyche’s style of play at times.
Furthermore, Pereira has previously managed David Luiz and back in Brazil, the Forest man has been compared to the man who won a number of trophies during his time with Chelsea.
Murillo can be the star of the show in the Forest team
Hopefully, Murillo can be back from his injury in the near future and start to act as the defensive diamond in Pereira’s new-look Forest system.
Once he’s back, he will fancy getting himself back to full tilt after losing his way amidst a lack of confidence in what he was being asked to do by Dyche.
The amount of money Nottingham Forest have paid out to managers
This is just ridiculous, should we have persisted with Dyche?
Murillo is clearly destined to leave Forest during the summer transfer window but he will want to get back to his very best to try and leave Forest in the Premier League when he does wave goodbye.
It’s going to be fascinating to see what Pereira can achieve with this group of Forest players and hopefully, Murillo can start to enjoy his football once again.
