Newcastle United are eyeing a move to sign Nottingham Forest star Omari Hutchinson in a potential cut price deal this summer, according to Sports Boom.
The Magpies have had a mixed campaign so far this season in the Premier League, sitting tenth in the table, nine points off the top four, while they are set to take in Qarabag in the Champions League playoff round in the coming weeks for a place in the Last 16.
But the club are already planning to make additions to the squad next season to strengthen, and another exciting young winger has been identified as someone who can do just that.

Hutchinson, who is the Nottingham Forest record-signing following his £37.5m arrival last summer, has had a mixed time at the City Ground so far this season.
The 22-year-old has scored once and registered four assists so far for the club from 22 appearances, but he has so far made just nine starts in the Premier League, and has only recently been included in the club's European squad after being left out originally.
However, with the club battling to avoid relegation and now set to appoint their fourth manager of the season following Sean Dyche's sacking this week, the player's long-term future at the club is now in question.
After signing a long-term deal in the summer, Hutchinson has attracted the attention of a number of clubs this season including the Magpies, who are now keen to add some dynamism to their wings following the disappointing performances of Anthony Elanga.
Forest are set to demand at least £55m to keep hold of the England Under-21 international, but should they find themselves in the Championship then it could see them drop down their price as a result, which could spark big moves in the market.

After news that Thomas Tuchel has signed a new deal with England until 2028, Howe's future looks to be at St James' Park for the long-term, and he will get a chance to strengthen his squad once again.
Howe tried to bolster the attack last year but the signings have failed to make an impact, and with Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon not hitting the heights of previous campaigns, he's likely to go again.
Hutchinson has great quality and a high ceiling, and this could be one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
