After suffering defeat to Bournemouth, Everton now a small break before their next Premier League fixture.
David Moyes’ side lost 2-1 at home to Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, which was a big missed opportunity in the race for Europe.
The form at the Hill Dickinson Stadium has been a real problem for Everton, so that will be something Moyes is desperate to correct.

The Toffees’ next game is against Manchester United at the new 52,000-seater stadium, but that’s not for another 11 days.
So, with that said, here are three things Moyes and his coaching staff must work on at the Finch Farm training ground during this mini break.
David Moyes must work closely with Nathan Patterson and Adam Aznou
With Jake O’Brien suspended for three games, Nathan Patterson is set to get a run of games at right-back.
So, Moyes must work closely with the former Rangers full-back to ensure he’s ready to handle his defensive duties. There is no questioning his ability going forward.

Is David Moyes doing enough at Everton to earn himself a new contract? 🫣
If not, who would you like to see replace him? 😬

The Scotsman should also place his trust in Adam Aznou, as Vitalii Mykolenko is becoming very error-prone.
Aznou should be given extra coaching time during this period, so that come the Man United game, the two young full-backs are well prepared to start.
Tyler Dibling should be moulded into an attacking midfielder
Evidently, Moyes isn’t getting enough out of his £40m summer signing Tyler Dibling, so the Everton manager has to improve his situation.
Dibling could benefit from a position change to a more central role, as his former manager Russell Martin always felt he would become a number eight or 10.
How can Tyler Dibling actually turn things around at Everton? 🤷♂️

Moyes should test the former Saints youngster in that role in training, and assess how he gets on.
Tyrique George needs to develop chemistry with the attackers
Tyrique George has impressed in his first couple of Everton games, but it’s evident that he’s not quite developed an understanding with his fellow attackers.
That will come with time, but this fixtureless weekend will allow the process to be sped up a tad.
Could we see George as a number nine? 😮

Moyes and his coaching staff should place emphasis on attacking drills with George, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Iliman Ndiaye and Thierno Barry.
That way, the quartet can gain a better understanding of certain runs that are being made and movements in and around the box.
