Gabriel should have been sent off – Andrews

**Keith Andrews felt Gabriel should have been sent off during Brentford’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal.**

The Premier League leaders seemed fortunate not to be reduced to 10 men late on when defender Gabriel escaped a second yellow card after a late challenge on Dango Ouattara.

Bees boss Andrews said: “I thought it was a second yellow – and it was in the 82nd minute so it would have made a bit of difference, that’s for sure.

“It’s fair to say that in the later stages we were the team that looked the more likely.”

Keane Lewis-Potter’s equaliser earned Brentford a deserved point in a thrilling match.

Lewis-Potter netted 10 minutes after former Chelsea man Noni Madueke had put Arsenal ahead.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admitted: “If you want to win here you’re going to have to defend the box with your life.”

The draw meant Brentford remained seventh in the table, now five points behind fourth-placed Manchester United and four behind fifth-placed Chelsea.
