A host of Reds players have joined the Brewers over the last few years with midfielder Andy Cannon the latest to make the switch to The Pirelli Stadium after signing on a season-long loan before the January transfer window closed.
Wing-back Sebastian Revan is on loan from Wrexham at the League One club with midfield duo George Evans and James Jones also on the books.
Cannon, who put Wrexham ahead at Blackburn Rovers in a 4-1 fourth round defeat two years ago, is delighted to link up with some familiar faces and the midfielder has made three substitute appearances since making the switch.
He told the club: "There's a lot of players from Wrexham who've come here. The latest ones are Seb and Evo.
"I am really close with them and I've spoken to them about it as well so I'm looking forward to getting going with them.
"I can't wait to get on the pitch with Evo again because we've played quite a lot together over the last two or three years so it's nice to be playing with him again."
Reds' boss Phil Parkinson allowed Cannon to make the temporary switch after making a full recovery from a serious ACL injury sustained last February.
"Andy needed to go out and get some minutes," he said.
"We could have got Andy in the 25-man squad and he always would have been a valuable addition to that but for his own career, he had to go somewhere where he felt he was going to play."
