The Friedkin Group are set to show their Everton ambition yet again by repeating their Jarrad Branthwaite stance when it comes to Iliman Ndiaye’s future.
Speculation is already growing around Ndiaye’s future on Merseyside as Manchester United, among other clubs, are showing an interest.
Reporter Ben Jacobs has suggested that Man United are keen to sign Ndiaye in the summer as they continue their own rebuild at Old Trafford.
Everton are over 12 months into The Friedkin Group’s ownership on Merseyside and the club are looking to close the gap on the European places.

However, speaking on The United Stand, Jacobs has said Everton are going to reject any interest in Ndiaye as they did with Branthwaite last year.

“Manchester United or another team may push and push and push and push and actually Everton’s ambitious owners may do exactly what they did with Jarrad Branthwaite and refuse all offers.”
Ndiaye has admitted he wants to play European football, but the Senegal international did also share his desire to do that at Everton.
Everton will stand firm against the interest potentially heading their way for Ndiaye after what’s been another impressive season for the winger.
Everton hold financial integrity to bat away Ndiaye interest
The Friedkins have transformed Everton’s finances and cleared the club of the debt that followed Farhad Moshiri’s reign.
Finance expert Kieran Maguire told Everton News that Everton will have greater spending power under SCR, which will soon replace PSR.
The financial freedom now at the Hill Dickinson Stadium will also put Everton in a much more favourable position when it comes to rejecting offers for their best players.
Everton spent years selling players like Amadou Onana to balance the books against the financial regulations of the Premier League.
This will not be the case any more at Everton, but the club now need to match the ambition of players like Ndiaye on the field.
