Birmingham City are back in action when they play Leeds United in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Blues welcome Leeds to St Andrew's on the back of a goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion in B9 last time out. The Whites, meanwhile, head into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Chelsea having come from two goals down at Stamford Bridge.

The midweek matches saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin miss Leeds' clash with Chelsea through illness, while Blues have been handed a concern after Paik Seung-ho suffered a recurrence of his shoulder injury against West Brom.

Here's the latest injury news ahead of the tie...

Blues injuries

Blues face rather more injury worries than Leeds heading into the fixture. They were handed a worry with Paik's shoulder injury.

Providing an update following the match, Blues boss Chris Davies said: "It's that shoulder again and it's concerning because he's a massive player. "It's obviously very painful to experience getting your shoulder like that again.

Blues will also be missing defender Jack Robinson, who sustained a hamstring injury in the previous FA Cup round. He's anticipated to remain unavailable until at least the month's end.

Left-back Alex Cochrane will likewise be absent with an ankle injury that has sidelined him since New Year's Day. He's also likely to be accompanied by Ethan Laird, who has been unavailable since September with a hamstring tear.

The final player unavailable is Lee Buchanan, who has been sidelined for more than a year due to a knee injury. The left-back is gradually working on his fitness levels in preparation for his comeback.

Leeds injuries

Leeds suffered a double setback ahead of the midweek encounter with Chelsea, with both defender Pascal Struijk and striker Calvert-Lewin absent from the match through injury and illness respectively.

Struijk was ruled out due to a flexor issue. Providing an update before the Chelsea game, Farke said: "The turnaround is too quick for him to play."

Whil that suggests it's nothing serious, the defender may not be risked in the FA Cup clash with Blues.

Calvert-Lewin was absent from the squad due to illness. The severity remains unclear, but the striker could be rested to allow additional recovery time.

The third player potentially unavailable is midfielder Anton Stach. The German has been absent from the last two fixtures with a hip injury.

Whilst the issue isn't expected to sideline him for an extended period, the Blues fixture may arrive marginally too soon.
