Staff members stayed up into the early hours to watch a stream from the funeral of head coach Dario’s father in Australia.
Rado was also a member of the Albion staff last season and died recently at the age of 64 having fought against cancer.
Dario Vidosic remains in Australia for now, with his assistant Chris Roberts taking interim charge of the squad.
Roberts said: “It was a lovely send-off for a really special man and I think it's important that Dario and his family have time to kind of process and to be there for each other in this moment, obviously a really difficult time.
“And then I'm assuming over the coming days, there will start to be a bit more clarity on when Dario is likely to return.
“But the funeral has literally been in the last 24 hours.
“We have been part of that in terms of a lot of us watched the funeral remotely.
“Actually, we had representation there from the club in Australia, which is really nice as well.
“But we've just been there to support Dario at the moment.”
Roberts’ fifth game in charge sees Albion face Arsenal at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday following two WSL defeats in which they have let leads slip away.
They were 1-0 up and dominant at home to London City before losing 2-1.
Then came a 3-2 setback at West Ham, where they were 2-0 up past the 80-minute mark.
Roberts said: “We have spoken a lot as a group this week, we have analysed how we have managed games.
“We've analysed the good and bad from the game and, like every game, we need to take the learning from it into the next.
“I think like that's the beautiful thing about football.
“You know there is literally a game every week so you don't have a lot of time to dwell on what's happened.
“We have to learn from it quickly and that comes in victory and in defeat.”
Fran Kirby is still out for the Seagulls, who beat Arsenal 4-2 in a thriller at Crawley late last season and went down 1-0 in this term’s game at the Emirates.
