Tyler Dibling still needs to convince many at Everton about his ability.
The England U21 international has failed to score or assist a goal in his 17 appearances for Everton so far following a £40m move from Southampton in August – and was recently called out by David Moyes.
The Glaswegian said: “I’d be thinking I better pull my finger out and show the manager what I was really about…he needs to find a way of becoming that player who we thought would be creating.
“Are you going to get us some assists, are you going to score some goals?”

The Athletic have now shared what the coaching staff at the Hill Dickinson Stadium think of Tyler Dibling – and there is reason for optimism.
Everton retain belief in Tyler Dibling
Despite Moyes leaving the 19-year-old on the bench in the last two Premier League games, it sounds like nobody at Everton is giving up on the teenager just yet.
The Athletic say coaches and staff members within Everton still have a lot of faith in his ability.

The Toffees feel Dibling will require patience before fans start to see why £40m was spent on his signature, as he is a “quiet” and “reserved” character who previously failed to settle after moving to Chelsea from Southampton.
With just days until his 20th birthday, the Everton No.20 obviously has a lot of time on his side, but he would be wise to step up sooner rather than later under a no-nonsense manager like Moyes.
The five attackers Everton chose Tyler Dibling ahead of
Everton created an eight-man shortlist when searching for a new winger over the summer, including Dibling. The Athletic say the two top targets were Francisco Conceicao and Johan Bakayoko, who opted for Juventus and RB Leipzig respectively instead.
There were then five other forwards Everton considered, but ultimately ignored to pursue Dibling instead.
Omari Hutchinson, Dilane Bakwa and James McAtee were all on the shortlist, a trio who ended up at Nottingham Forest, while Abdul Fatawu and Matias Fernandez-Pardo were also options for Everton.
