Vitor Pereira has just signed his contract to join Nottingham Forest with the deal running until the end of next season, GIVEMESPORT can exclusively reveal.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis decided to sack Sean Dyche in the early hours of Thursday morning following the club's goalless draw against rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City Ground on Wednesday night.
The result left the Reds in 17th position, three points above West Ham United in the final relegation spot.
Marinakis believes that the club needed a fresh face - their fourth of the season - in order to stave off the threat of a return to the Championship with a dozen Premier League matches left to play this season.

Just hours after Dyche's exit, GMS sources revealed that Forest were in direct talks over a move to bring the former Wolves boss to the City Ground.
The Portuguese manager was sacked by Wolves at the start of November after going winless in their opening 10 Premier League matches of the season, with a 3-0 home defeat to Fulham proving to be the final straw for the 57-year-old.
The Midlands outfit have only won once since, and they remain in single figures in terms of points with relegation to the second tier nailed on.
Nevertheless, Forest and Marinakis believe that Pereira will steer them to survival in the coming weeks, with West Ham, Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur the clubs around them in the table as things stand.
