Alphonse Areola has been awarded the Premier League Save of the Month award for January 2026.
The French stopper, who has since lost his place in West Ham's first team to Mads Hermansen, won the award for his incredible save against Wolves during the 3-0 defeat at Molineux at the beginning of the month.
Areola looked certain to be beaten by centre forward Tolu Arokodare's downward header before sticking out a left boot - and not only saved the effort, but sent the ball over the ball to safety at the same time.
And for that incredible stop, he has won the award for the first time this season.
In the other January awards, Mateus Fernandes - who was nominated for the Goal of the Month award - was beaten by Harrison Reed's 22-yard piledriver for Fulham at Liverpool.
Meanwhile Crysencio Summerville - one of the nominees for Player of the Month - was beaten to the award by Brentford's Igor Thiago, who also scored five goals during January.
