Jack Harrison
The January transfer window saw Leeds United make just one signing; a disappointing outcome to fans who had high hopes. When the deal for Facundo Buonanotte was confirmed, people around the club were excited.
The 49ers were finally adding some quality to the attack. But what followed was why many regard the window as a missed opportunity; after enquiring over a move for Jorgen Strand Larsen, Leeds made an official bid for the Wolves man. His club however, wanted the money up front while Leeds wanted a loan with an obligation to buy in the summer. So eventually, the deal fell through and the Norwegian striker ended up at Crystal Palace.

When it came to exits in January, there was one notable one. Most fans expected it to happen, but it arrived very quickly; Jack Harrison left Elland Road to join Fiorentina on loan in Italy.
Jack Harrison seeking Leeds United exit
Weeks before the deal was confirmed, there were reports that the Englishman was not happy with his playing time this season. He was stuck behind many players in the pecking order and wanted to leave. Valencia showed huge interest, but did not offer a deal. Fiorentina eventually swooped in and signed the winger on loan for the rest of the season.
Since arriving in Italy, he has featured in three out of four games and has already provided an assist. Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Jack Harrison is keen on an exit from Leeds United this summer. Fiorentina have an option to buy him permanently but no decision has been made as yet. It is believed that the possibility of a transfer hinges on the Serie A side surviving relegation this season. La Viola are currently in 18th place in the standings, three points behind 17th place.

Move was expected
When Harrison was brought back into the team during pre-season, a lot of Leeds fans were furious over the decision. Especially when the club had planned to loan out Mateo Joseph and Largie Ramazani weeks later. The winger barely played during the season, and his cameos off the bench were forgettable. What was more frustrating was him pushing for the exit, proving the fanbase right about the decision from Farke and the ownership. This summer will probably see the end of the Jack Harrison saga at Elland Road once and for all.
