Keiber Lamadrid and Mohamadou Kante both start as West Ham United face Burton Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup at the Pirelli Stadium.
Our Hammers News readers said this week that Lamadrid and Kante should be in from the off against League One opponents. Their wish has been granted, with Nuno Espirito Santo selecting the Venezuela international and the French powerhouse in a much-changed starting XI.
Starts for Lamadrid and Kante!
Who are you most excited to see today?
Adama Traore of West Ham United warms up prior to the Premier League match between West Ham United and Manchester United at London Stadium on February 10, 2026 in London, United Kingdom.
Lamadrid scored a stunner on his U21 bow earlier this month. On loan from Deportivo la Guaira with an option to buy, this feels like a massive opportunity for the 22-year-old to prove his worth.

Adama Traore also makes his first start after joining from Fulham. Ezra Mayers is in too, following up his outing against QPR in round three, while Soungoutou Magassa is recalled and Callum Wilson leads the line.
Alphonse Areola replaces Mads Hermansen in goal as Konstantinos Mavropanos captains the side in Jarrod Bowen’s absence. And after Josh Ajala held talks with French and German clubs during the January transfer window, the young forward features on the bench with the Hammers hoping to keep him.
Teenage goalkeeper Fin Herrick is also among the substitutes.
A very good omen for Burton… 🏆 🍻
