Keith Wyness believes Man United would be a natural progressive move for Sandro Tonali
Former United chief scout Keith Wyness has claimed that there have been ‘whispers’ from Tonali’s agent regarding his future beyond this season.
It was reported last week that the Italian is now high on United’s shortlist for the summer. However, he’s not going to come cheap, as Newcastle value the 25-year-old in the region of £100 million.

Former Everton and Aston Villa chief Keith Wyness has told Football Insider that Tonali has been making noises regarding a potential move away from St James’ Park. There have been ‘whispers’ coming from his agent, ahead of what could be a blockbuster summer transfer window.
“I can see it happening,” Wyness said, referring to a Man United transfer this summer. “Tonali has made those noises. He’s done it very discreetly. He realises that you can’t come out and say it in Newcastle. That’s not the thing to do.
“But I think there’s been certainly some whispers behind the scenes from his agent, and I think United would be a natural progression for him.”
The striker left a sour taste in many Newcastle fans’ mouths with his move to Liverpool. After an ongoing pursuit and his separation from the rest of the Magpies’ team, the Reds signed Isak in a record-breaking £125 million deal, making him the most expensive British transfer to date.
