Newcastle United team news v Aston Villa: Sven Botman and Yoane Wissa are out for Newcastle United.
Ahead of the match, Newcastle were dealt the blow that captain Bruno Guimaraes is facing an extended spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian is expected to be out until April after hobbling off in the 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night. The match comes too soon for Lewis Miley and Joelinton, who are closing in on returns from respective leg and groin injuries.
Tino Livramento, Fabian Schar and Emil Krafth remain out for Eddie Howe’s side while Sven Botman and Yoane Wissa missed out on a place in the matchday squad.

Eddie Howe on FA Cup clash
“We are here to try and win,” Howe said ahead of the game. “I've said so many times we loved last year in the Carabao Cup and what that meant to everybody, what that meant to us, the experience we went through to win the competition and we'd love to do it in any other way that we can.
“If that's the FA Cup, then that would be a great opportunity for us. We look at tomorrow as just an opportunity to win this game that's in front of us.
“We've then got, of course, a long travel midweek back into the Champions League, but we'll worry about that when we get there. All focus and all eyes are on this game.”
Newcastle United team news confirmed - Sven Botman & Yoane Wissa out
Howe has made six changes from the side that beat Spurs, with the injured Guimaraes dropping out and Sandro Tonali coming in. Lewis Hall has also come into the side for Joe Willock while William Osula, Nick Woltemade and Jacob Murphy are in for Anthony Gordon, Anthony Elanga and Sven Botman.
Aaron Ramsdale also replaces Nick Pope in goal.
Botman is out of the squad entirely, official sources at Newcastle claiming the defneder has been rested after a busy run of matches while Newcastle Yoane Wissa is said to be out of the squad due to a knock.
It sees 18-year-old trio Leo Shahar, Sean Neave and Park Seung-soo called up to the bench while John Ruddy is also among the substitutes as a third choice goalkeeper.
