Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has named his starting XI to face Newcastle United in the FA Cup fourth round.

He has made seven changes from the team which beat Brighton 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Marco Bizot starts in goal behind a defence of Lamare Bogarde, Victor Lindelof, Pau Torres and Lucas Digne.

Amadou Onana partners Douglas Luiz in midfield, while Leon Bailey, Ross Barkley and Morgan Rogers support striker Tammy Abraham.

Villa beat Tottenham 2-1 in north London in the third round, while Newcastle defeated Bournemouth on penalties.

Emery’s side are targeting successive home wins in all competitions for the first time since their 11-match winning run at Villa Park ended against Everton last month.

Opponents Newcastle earned just their second win in 12 away games on Tuesday, beating Spurs 2-1.

However, they have lost influential midfielder Bruno Guimaraes to injury, while Joelinton and Lewis Miley are also sidelined this evening.

Villa starting XI vs Newcastle: Bizot; Bogarde, Lindelof, Torres, Digne; Onana, Luiz; Bailey, Barkley, Rogers; Abraham.

Subs: Martinez, Konsa, Mings, Buendia, Watkins, Garcia, Sancho, Maatsen, Kone.
