Liverpool supporters have been reacting after Jurgen Klopp unveiled a new look yesterday evening, February 13. The former Liverpool boss regularly posts to Instagram and offers insights into life away management.

The latest photo shared by Klopp showed him sporting a black stetson hat and a red and white neckerchief. A new moustache was also noticed by supporters. He captioned the post: "Not Ted Lasso but John Dutton today! Mainzer Fastnacht here we go."

Comments included: "Slowly turning to Walter White from Breaking Bad" and another wrote "new look", alongside a fire emoji. Other comments included "Red dead redemption", referencing a video game focused on the the decline of the American frontier in the year 1911.

Further replies were: "Is that Negan from the walking dead?" and "This being the first time I can remember Jurgen allowing comments on his post is hilarious."

The Liverpool FC legend, who led the team to their first league title in 30 years and first ever Premier League title, left his role as manager in 2024. He took charge of the Reds for nine years and saw the club win seven major trophies and be crowned champions of England, Europe and the World.

The German coach is currently head of football for the Red Bull Group. After his Anfield departure, he has had much more free time to enjoy aspects of life he wouldn't have been able to as much with the full-on schedule that being a Premier League manager carried.

While he is also loving his holidays and new freedom, Klopp admitted to Sky Sports News that he is also relishing the challenge of learning day-to-day things he did not do while managing Liverpool.

Before leaving Liverpool, Klopp explained: "My managerial skills are based on energy and emotion and that takes all of you. If I cannot do it anymore, stop it. It was not my idea when I signed the new contract. I was 100% convinced at that moment we would go until 2026. But I realise my resources are not endless. I'm not a young rabbit anymore."

When Klopp announced it was time to bid an emotional farewell to the Kop, he admitted the non-stop demands and intensity of the role had left him exhausted.

Klopp will serve as Sir Kenny Dalglish's assistant when the Liverpool Legends take on Klopp's former side, Borussia Dortmund, in a charity fixture for the LFC Foundation in March.

The match will see Steven Gerrard lead the Reds out at Anfield with all funds raised going to the club's official charity. Klopp holds the position of the Foundation's honorary ambassador and March 28 will mark his long-awaited return to the club.
