Newcastle United have controversially gone a goal down in their FA Cup fourth round clash at Aston Villa on Saturday. Tammy Abraham put Unai Emery's side in front 14 minutes in after a clever free-kick routine, but looked to be offside.
With no VAR used at this stage of the competition - the goal was allowed to stand. It means Eddie Howe's side now face a tough task against a team sitting third in the Premier League table.
And BBC Sport pundit Danny Murphy has shared his view that Abraham's finish at Villa Park should have been ruled out.
He said: "So creative, you just think Rodgers is going to step up but he trying to deceive them. I think he's going to be offside. Should have been offside. No VAR sorry, good point.
"We'll get back to that in a minute but what a pass from Douglas Luiz. It's a great run and it's a great training-ground free-kick they've obviously worked on.
"It was such a clever, little pass. Looking on the replay, he looks a yard off for me. They'll feel hard done-by Newcastle when they see it back I think."
Newcastle are looking to build on their crucial 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur in midweek. Howe's men earned their place in the FA Cup fourth round after beating Bournemouth in January.
But they may also have one eye on their Champions League playoff clash against Qarabag in midweek. The Magpies go to Azerbaijan for the first leg on Wednesday.
