Debut for new signing? Predicted Brentford XI v Macclesfield

The Brentford head coach did not reveal if the Belgian will start in his press conference, but with talisman Igor Thiago in need of a rest, the 19-year-old will most likely take the reins in place of the Brazilian.

With Brentford enjoying an incredible season in the Premier League, they will be hoping to progress in the FA Cup and victory on Monday would see them just two wins from Wembley.

Andrews also reiterated Brentford will treat the competition and Macclesfield with the utmost respect ahead of Monday's trip to Moss Rose.

Hakon Valdimarsson started in the previous round away at Sheffield Wednesday and will likely start between the sticks.

Defence could also see a few more changes, with Nathan Collins possibly restored to the XI.

Made captain last summer, the Irishman has been an unused sub in the last two games against Newcastle and Arsenal.

However, Andrews is likely to start him with rest and rotation being essential as Brentford approach a critical time in their season.

Stalwart Ethan Pinnock will likely join him in central defence, with Aaron Hickey likely to be given a start at right-back.

Rico Henry could be one of the few Thursday survivors who starts at left-back. There are others who could fill the void, but are unlikely to be risked against John Rooney's side.

In midfield, Vitaly Janelt and Mathias Jensen could be rest with Jordan Henderson and Mikkel Damsgaard replacing the duo.

One of Janelt, Jensen or Yehor Yarmoliuk could possibly join Henderson and Damsgaard in central midfield.

Andrews could also hand a debut to Luka Bentt, who has impressed for the U21s and was named on the bench against Aston Villa and Arsenal this month.

Furo is certain to make his debut, with exciting talent Romelle Donovan potentially starting on the right.

To say Reiss Nelson's time at Brentford has been frustrating would be an understatement.

However with the winger available, Monday represents an ideal opportunity to build his match sharpness.

With Kevin Schade still suspended, that only leaves Keane Lewis-Potter in reserve and the 24-year-old has certainly picked up form in recent weeks.

The forward has looked sharp going forward in recent weeks and many fans would not be averse to him starting again tomorrow night.

Andrews will have a headache ahead of the trip to Cheshire, but is also aware of the personnel needing rest and recuperation ahead of a hectic few months.

Predicted Brentford XI to face Macclesfield: Valdimarsson; Hickey, Collins, Pinnock, Henry; Yarmoliuk, Henderson, Damsgaard; Donovan, Furo, Nelson.

Squad: Eyestone, Ajer, van den Berg, Kayode, Janelt, Jensen, Ouattara, Lewis-Potter, Thiago.
