Who is Isaac Heath? The Everton youngster linked to Huddersfield and Reading

Isaac Heath hasn’t made his Everton debut yet, but he has been progressing well in the academy and on loan.

After winning Everton’s under-21s Player of the Season award in 2024/25, David Moyes decided to send Isaac Heath on loan this season.

Heath has been flourishing at Accrington Stanley this term and is now attracting interest from clubs higher up in the EFL.

Heath has always been highly rated around Finch Farm, but his output in the academy didn’t really reflect that at times.

However, at Accrington, the 21-year-old has really stepped up a level and added end product to his game.

Heath has registered 10 goal involvements in 28 games for the League Two outfit, which is a very commendable tally, especially considering he’s playing in a lower-half side.

David Moyes is an admirer of Isaac Heath

Heath was involved in Everton’s pre-season last summer and caught the eye of Moyes and his coaching staff.

The Toffees boss has actually named the youngster on his bench on five occasions, so he clearly admires the winger.

Perhaps if Heath has another productive loan higher up in the EFL, Moyes may hand him his senior debut.

Isaac Heath has been labelled an ‘unbelievable talent’

Accrington manager John Doolan has been blown away by Heath this season and labelled him as ‘unbelievable’ in December.

“Isaac Heath is just an unbelievable talent,” Doolan stated.

“To see what teams are doing to him now, doubling up, trebling up – they trebled up on him on Saturday.”

Doolan has also said that Heath is so ‘exciting’ to watch and is constantly showing a willingness to learn.
