Crysencio Summerville can be a pillar upon which West Ham United lead their charge up the Premier League table, according to head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Dutchman continued his fine form for the Hammers as Summerville scored a brilliant winner for West Ham United against Burton in the FA Cup.
Summerville has hit red-hot form for West Ham United just at the right time. He’s one of the most lethal players in Europe right now, having amassed seven goal contributions (six goals and one assist) in his last seven games.
Is this just a purple patch or is Summerville really one of the best forwards in the Premier League? 🤔

The challenge is for the 24-year-old to replicate this going forward. Nothing is achieved yet and the Irons still face a huge challenge if they are to remain in the Premier League.
Nuno is aware of that. West Ham need to keep coaxing the very best out of the former Leeds winger.
Speaking to reporters in the bitter cold after the FA Cup win at the Pirelli Stadium, the West Ham head coach said: “He’s in a good moment.
“Summerville is full of confidence. Everything that he does seems to go well, so we have to take advantage of it.”

Crysencio Summerville’s form does not surprise Konstantinos Mavropanos
Even Summerville’s most ardent supporter would surely admit that this rapid-fire turnaround in form has been something of a surprise.
Though clearly a talented player while at Leeds in the Championship, he’d never previously shown this kind of ability in the Premier League.
However, it appears those behind the scenes in the West Ham United squad always knew the raw materials were there.
Speaking after the Burton game, teammate Konstantinos Mavropanos told the BBC: “We knew when we got him the player he is and now he is in top form, and he just has to keep going.”

Crysencio Summerville wants to continue his good form
Summerville is starting to become West Ham’s talisman, which looked out of the question only a few weeks ago.
It remains to be seen if he can keep this up. If he can, then West Ham really have quite the player on their hands.
Speaking to West Ham’s official website after scoring a fine goal against Burton, he said: “Everyone who knows me knows that when I feel good in myself I can do well. I’m in a good space at the moment, and after my injury I’m just happy to be back on the pitch.
“I’m trying to show it week in, week out, and it’s going well at the moment.”
Summerville is putting himself in the record books at West Ham and another goal against Bournemouth on Saturday would be another major suggestion that this isn’t just a purple patch.
