Arsenal progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup following a straightforward afternoon against League One outfit Wigan Athletic.
And the hosts seized the lead within the opening ten minutes after Eberechi Eze threaded the ball through to the advancing Noni Madueke, who struck clinically. The ex-Crystal Palace player was once more involved, locating Gabriel Martinelli, who converted with a left-footed effort.
Saka's delivery was subsequently nodded into his own goal by Jack Hunt before Christian Norgaard's long pass found an onside Gabriel Jesus, who concluded with a delicate chip. The second period, perhaps predictably, lost momentum.

Here is how Daily Star Sportassessed the displays of the Arsenal players involved.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, 8 - Compelled into a fine stop in the opening period from Joe Taylor who found himself clear on goal following a Norgaard mistake. Dealt with several long-range efforts and deliveries but was otherwise undisturbed, reports Football London.
Ben White, 7 - Rather an unusual match for White who roamed up and down the right flank throughout. A peculiar instance in the second period when he hooked the ball into his own area with a sliding challenge.
Cristhian Mosquera, 8 - Predictably had precious little to occupy him during the match. Remained untroubled throughout but stood firm in challenges and came close to netting from a set-piece.
William Saliba, 8 - Enjoyed a quiet afternoon but handled everything that came his way with composure. 8.
Myles Lewis-Skelly, 6 - Expected to feature in the middle of the park, but Calafiori's problem saw him revert to left-back duties. This wasn't necessarily a match where he advanced his case with Arteta and showed impetuosity in several defensive situations.
Christian Norgaard, 7 - What a delivery from the Danish midfielder to pick out Jesus for Arsenal's fourth strike. Nevertheless, he was lucky not to hand the opposition a goal after presenting Taylor with a golden opportunity.
Eberechi Eze, 9 - Superb pass to set up his Three Lions colleague Madueke for the opener in a fixture where he desperately needed to shine. He continued this form roughly ten minutes later with a perfectly weighted left-footed delivery to Martinelli for the second.
Bukayo Saka, 7 - An unexpected inclusion after stepping in for the injured Riccardo Calafiori, it was his delivery that prompted Arsenal's third of the afternoon. It was rather entertaining watching him operate in the roaming position, with several efforts blocked, before his half-time withdrawal.
Noni Madueke, 8 - Found the net for the curtain-raiser, with a clever pass releasing the wide man who dispatched a left-footed effort past the goalkeeper with ease.
Gabriel Jesus, 8 - The Brazilian netted the fourth, chipping the ball over the goalkeeper from close range with real class. Still, however, struggles to stay onside when it matters, otherwise he could've bagged another.
Gabriel Martinelli, 8 - Brilliant left-footed strike following the pass from Eze, fired across the keeper and into the corner, raising questions about where that clinical edge has been throughout the campaign. 8.
Viktor Gyokeres, 6 - Hit the woodwork with an effort ten minutes after his half-time introduction. That proved his sole major threatening contribution during his 45 minutes on the pitch, though he received little supply.
Marli Salmon, 6 - Celebrating his home bow, a memorable occasion for the youngster. Battled well and appeared comfortable at this level.

Leandro Trossard, 6 - Few players possess the ability to execute the skills that Trossard manages quite like the Belgian. 6.
Martin Zubimendi, 6 - Called upon to replace Ben White who appeared to be suffering from cramp before the closing ten minutes. The Spaniard delivered an excellent cross to Martinelli in the area which the winger ought to have converted.
Tommy Setford, N/A - The Arsenal prospect celebrated his home bow for the club.
