Latest Premier League news and rumours including updates from Manchester United, Arsenal and Leeds United
Premier League clubs will get the chance to bring in some new faces when the next window opens in the summer. According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United and Arsenal are showing ‘serious’ interest in AC Milan attacker Christian Pulisic. The report adds that he is valued at around the £70million mark, with Tottenham Hotspur also keen on a move.
Pulisic, 27, is under contract at the San Siro until June 2027 meaning he only has a year left on his deal left to run in Italy. He made the switch to his current club back in 2023 and he has since become one of their most prized assets. The forward has scored 42 goals in 121 games for the Serie A giants in all competitions, 10 of which have come this season.
The USA international, who has 82 caps to his name, played for Borussia Dormund before Chelsea swooped in back in 2019. He then spent four years on the books at Stamford Bridge. The Pennsylvania-born man is now being linked with a return to England later this year.
The 3am Verdict: Christian Pulisic would be a shrewd signing for either Arsenal or Manchester United. He has been a key player for AC Milan recently and should now test himself in England again. If he joined either the Gunners or the Red Devils, he would give them both something different in attack.
Leeds United target Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney
Leeds United are planning a ‘massive’ bid for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, via journalist Alan Nixon on Patreon. The Whites could try and test Boro’s resolve at the end of this campaign. Daniel Farke’s side look well on their way to securing their top flight status for another year.
Hackney, 23, has been playing his football at the Riverside Stadium for his whole career to date. He rose up through the academy ranks of the Championship outfit and was a reglular at various different youth levels before breaking into the first-team as a youngster. He has since played 146 matches and has fired 15 goals.
The 3am Verdict: Middlesbrough will face a battle to keep hold of Hayden Hackney this summer if they don’t get promoted. If they do go up though, they will be confident of retaining his services. Hackney would be a shrewd addition for Leeds if they managed to snap him up. He would give the Whites more competition and depth in the middle of the park.
