Carrick has turned to United striker Sesko as a key substitute option, with Bryan Mbeumo his preferred pick to lead the attacking frontline for the Red Devils.
Sesko has made an impact in his performances as a super sub, with the 22-year-old Slovenian forward scoring in United’s 3-2 home win over Fulham earlier this month.
The Slovenia international came to United’s rescue against West Ham last Tuesday evening, with Sesko netting the all-important injury-time equaliser for his side.
