Bradford City dominate Team of the Week with trio also chipping in

BRADFORD City, fresh from an outstanding weekend win over Peterborough United, lead the way with four player nominations in our latest Yorkshire Post Team of Week.

Five clubs are represented in our XI, with some welcome representation for troubled Sheffield Wednesday.

Goalkeeper: Murphy Cooper (Sheffield Wednesday)

Solid performance from the QPR loanee against Millwall and got in the way of a fair few things.

Defence: Aden Baldwin (Bradford City)

Classy display against Posh. Sprayed out some vintage crossfield passes and made one fine saving challenge before the break.

Jaka Bijol (Leeds United)

Physically dominant on a tough cup day for Leeds at St Andrew's. Won his headers and challenges on the deck.

Tyler Bindon (Sheffield United)

Stood tall against Portsmouth leader-of-the-line Bishop as United dug out a gutsy win.

Midfield/wing-backs: Josh Neufville (Bradford City)

Back to his best for City. Created second goal and also hit the bar. Excellent showing.

Tobias Brenan (Harrogate Town)

His interval introduction changed things at Chesterfield as Town secured an important survival point.

Jenson Metcalfe (Bradford City) Should have found the net in the first half, but his midfield display was of high-class. Hit the post in the second half with a free-kick. Elegant stuff.

Ethan Ampadu (Leeds United) Helped change things in the second city and showed tenacity, authority and leadership to get Leeds home.

Andre Brooks (Sheffield United) Kept going right to the end and got his rewards late on at Fratton Park.

Forwards: Olaf Kobacki (Sheffield Wednesday) Pretty encouraging showing against Millwall and did a lot of good things.

Kayden Jackson (Bradford City) Up and running for his hometown club and caused Peterborough problems with his directness and pace.

Manager/head coach: Graham Alexander (Bradford City)
