Mikel Arteta assessed the challenge of **Arsenal**playing against **Wolves**in the Premier League.
The team at the top of the table might have been expected to thrash the outfit at the bottom back in December, but their meeting at the **Emirates Stadium**proved to be much more engaging. The Gunners grabbed the first goal of the game after 70 minutes through an own goal from a corner, and they required an injury time strike with another own goal to claim a 2-1 victory by the final whistle.
Since then, the men of **Rob Edwards**have racked up several wins, and they have made a significant step forward from their performances under Vitor Pereira. Even if relegation appears to be certain for the club, they should be a stern test for the league leaders on Wednesday at the Molineux Stadium.
“It is done [rescheduling the game at short notice]. Obviously, it's not in our hands. We have to play now and we are very happy to play tomorrow.
“Understanding the difficulty of the match is always there in any game in the Premier League but when you come to the last stages of the season you know the importance of every win and what you have to do. I sense the team is in a good emotional state, really looking forward to playing tomorrow. Play with that energy, that confidence and I'm sure we'll continue to do what we've done.
“Most of their games, that [running teams close] is what they are doing against opponents, and he came in in a really difficult moment for the club and I know how he feels about the club and the way he works and it’s going to be very tough. If we do the things that we do really well, we have a big chance to win the game and we need to play as well with that purpose and confidence.”
