Everton could potentially be presented with another opportunity to sign Bayern Munich striker Nicolas Jackson in the upcoming transfer window.
The Senegal international joined the Bundesliga giants on loan from Chelsea last summer with an option to buy, but things haven’t gone to plan for him.
While Jackson won the Africa Cup of Nations with his national side, starting in the final against Morocco, he has struggled for regular minutes under Vincent Kompany.
David Moyes wanted Jackson at Hill Dickinson Stadium before his move to the Allianz Arena, and the Merseyside outfit could potentially reignite their pursuit.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The news outlet reports on 17 February that the 24-year-old is expected to evaluate his future at the end of the season.
It’s been claimed that there is interest in the Senegalese forward in the Premier League, and clubs are monitoring his situation.
This is where the Toffees could possibly come in and get another chance to sign the striker at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Jackson has scored three goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season, although his minutes have been limited.
The Senegal international scored 10 Premier League goals in the previous campaign, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
David Moyes to unlock magnificent partnership with Nicolas Jackson signing
Jackson faced criticism for not being clinical enough at Chelsea, something he’ll need to improve on at Everton.
Moyes already has two unreliable number nines in Thierno Barry and Beto at Hill Dickinson Stadium, and he can’t afford a third.

The Senegalese may be able to improve on his record at the Merseyside outfit by forming a partnership with his compatriot Iliman Ndiaye.
With the 25-year-old winger a creative force for the Blues, Jackson could potentially be the perfect person for him to link up with, as they’ve done for the Lions of Teranga.
