Forest & Spurs chaos paves opening for Hammers safety

**West Ham appear to be the settled & in-form side as we enter the final 12 game weeks of a fierce relegation battle.**

Although it wasn’t too long ago that our Hammers were staring down the barrel following a terrible and undeserved loss to Nottingham Forest, resulting in 1 point claimed from 4 vital games – times have since significantly changes.

Since then, West Ham have rallied and responded in style. With Nuno’s side playing 7 in all competitions and have won 5 of those, drawn once and just one defeat – a harsh lesson at Stamford Bridge which we were leading 2-0 at half time.

This has prompted chaos in Nottingham and in north London, with both clubs pressing the emergency alarms and sacking their respective managers.

It’s natural for us football folk to automatically see change as ‘better’, which undoubtedly these clubs will be praying for – but history does not serve them well. In fact, these decisions could be paving the way for West Ham’s survival in the Premier League this season.

Not only do these clubs now need miracles, in that a new boss can come and hit the ground running, inputting their ideas and styles to immediate success, but they both need to juggle European football.

Of course, there could be new manager bounces .. but that is far far from a given. In fact, it’s more likely that the upheaval could ultimately prove too much to get right in little to no time.

West Ham are the side now with a settled manager, backroom staff and players who are fully engaged.

If we can carry on as we are, keep our key players fit, then there’s every chance that we are about to see another great escape.

Hopefully at the expense of our rivals in north London.
