Former West Ham United star Jesse Lingard could yet end up in Brazil after leaving South Korea.
Lingard is without a club after leaving FC Seoul back in December and has been linked with several teams across Europe and beyond.
Indeed, talkSPORT claimed that Lingard was open to returning to West Ham United in January, but Nuno Espirito Santo put a stop to it and instead moved for Adama Traore.

Now a high-profile free agent, Lingard was expected to join a club in Italy.
However, there has since been another development. According to Brazilian outlet Globo, the former England international is in talks to join Remo.
Remo are based in the northern Brazilian city of Belem and itās believed the club are āprogressing towards an agreementā.
The report also suggests that thereās a good chance Lingard signs until the end of the season.

When Jesse Lingard could come up against Lucas Paqueta in Brazil
If Lingard does sign for Remo relatively soon, thereās a chance heāll come across another player to have infuriated West Ham United fans in the form of Lucas Paqueta.
Paqueta, of course, left east London to re-join former club Flamengo during the January transfer window.
The pair could come up against each other when Rio giants Flamengo host Remo on Thursday, 19 March, 2026.
One could argue that Lingardās career has never really recovered since he rejected a return to West Ham in 2022, but a move to Brazil would be another interesting step in what is becoming a nomadic second chapter for him.

Jesse Lingardās career since leaving West Ham United
Lingard enjoyed a brilliant loan spell at West Ham in 2021, but his career hasnāt hit such heights since.
He returned to Manchester United at the end of the 2020/21 campaign and scored just two goals in 22 games in his final season at Old Trafford, while also laying on an assist.
Lingard would then join Nottingham Forest, but a year there yielded only two goals and two assists in 20 appearances.
The attacking midfielder then scored ten goals while registering 19 assists in 67 games for FC Seoul.
In total, since playing his final game for West Ham United against Southampton in May 2021, Lingard has made only 109 appearances, scoring 14 goals and laying on 23 assists.
