Everton will come up against one of their former transfer targets in Amad Diallo at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
According to a report from Northern Echo back in 2023, the Toffees were actually exploring a deal to sign Amad on a season-long loan deal.

Sean Dyche sanctioned the sale of Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray that summer, so Amad was being lined up as a replacement.
Ultimately, the young winger stayed put at Man United and Everton ended up signing Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds United
Amad has since gone on to become one of their best players.

David Moyes will be well aware of the threat Amad poses, so he’ll have to give firm instructions to Vitalii Mykolenko.
The United winger will constantly be looking to exploit the Toffees’ left-back, who can be very error-prone at times.
Everton fans have urged the club to sell Mykolenko, and as it stands, he is due to leave on a free transfer in the summer, with his contract due to expire.

Amad has played two games against Everton throughout his career and has registered two assists.
Bruno Fernandes is another threat Moyes will have to neutralise, as he’s scored six goals whilst laying on five assists in his 12 games against the Toffees.
Fernandes has contributed six goal involvements in his last six games, so he’s one of the most in-form players in the division.
Michael Carrick hasn’t lost since replacing Ruben Amorim as Man United manager in January.
