Jarrod Bowen continues to lead the charge at West Ham United, although his chances of making the England squad for the 2026 World Cup reportedly remain up in the air.
Bowen, who has 20 caps for his country, is the joint-second top-scoring Englishman in the Premier League this season.
Only Dominic Calvert-Lewin (10) has scored more goals than the West Ham United captain (8) and the Leeds forward hasn’t been involved at international level in years.
England manager Thomas Tuchel likes working with Bowen, although he faces intense competition for places.

Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke are in contention, although perhaps the former could move into a central role going forward.
That, in theory, could open up a space for Bowen, who missed out on the 2022 World Cup under Gareth Southgate.
Still, Jack Gaughan of The Daily Mail has rated his chances of making the final squad as “up in the air”, though it is claimed that Bowen is “always in the conversation”.

Jarrod Bowen’s stats under Thomas Tuchel
Though Tuchel values Bowen’s versatility, he’s yet to really trust him in any meaningful games.
That is perhaps explained by the fact that Saka has previously been the undisputed first choice option on the right for the Three Lions, though it’s not as if the Gunners star has been in brilliant club form on a consistent basis for a while now.
In total, Bowen has made eight appearances for England under Tuchel, two of which have come from the start.
In around 216 minutes of action under Tuchel, Bowen has recorded one assist.

Harry Redknapp calls for Jarrod Bowen to go to the 2026 World Cup
Former West Ham manager Harry Redknapp has urged Tuchel to take Bowen to the 2026 World Cup.
Asked whether the former Hull City forward should go, Redknapp told talkSPORT: “For sure, he’d be in my squad.
“I mean, you’d have him anywhere, wouldn’t you?
“He gives it absolutely everything, he works, he scores goals, he’s a great team player and he’s got real good ability.
“I love him, he is Mr West Ham for me at the moment, he’s been amazing.”
Bowen continues to star for West Ham and that’s all he can do as he looks to achieve his dream of playing in a World Cup for England.
