Jordan and Megan Pickford have celebrated a special family occasion this week as their son turned seven. The married couple have been in a relationship for more than 15 years and are the proud parents of son Arlo, and daughters named Ostara Haze and Misty Celine.

Yesterday, Megan shared pictures of her son to social media as she marked his birthday. She said: "Happy seventh birthday King. To know you is to love you. The love you have gave me makes me choke up just to think about. I can't believe you are seven, and still hang off me like you did when you were two."

The University of Sunderland graduate added: "The best brother your sisters could have wished for in their wildest dreams. We are so lucky you are ours. Mummy and daddy love you so much, happy birthday darling."

Megan shared a separate post to social media as the family enjoyed a holiday to Dubai last week. She uploaded video of her children in a hotel swimming pool, alongside photos of the family enjoying meals together.

Other snaps showed how the Everton goalkeeper had treated Megan for Valentine's Day. A huge teddy bear made of love hearts, surrounded by vases of flowers, was gifted by Pickford to his wife. She captioned the post: "A special week in the sun celebrating love with our gang."

Friends of the family sent messages of support. One person wrote: "Looks like you had an amazing time" and a second added: "Happy birthday Arlo hope you had the most amazing day."

Other responses were: "Beautiful, every one of you, have fun" and "Bliss! Happy birthday to Arlo, Megan! I hope he has had a lovely day." Another said "Gorgeous, so cute."

The 31-year-old goalkeeper has been a key figure for Everton over the years, especially in their relegation battles. He joined the Blues in 2017 from Sunderland. Pickford's family joined him when he signed another contract last year.

The England keeper signed a new four-year contract with the club, meaning he will be an Everton player until the end of June 2029. Megan shared a snap of the family to Instagram, moments after the contract was signed.

She wrote "A proud day, the babies and I couldn't love watching you do what you love more Jordan. Forever by your side and always your biggest fans."

Pickford shared the photo to his own account and spoke about the importance of Everton FC for him and his family. He said: "Four more years. Couldn't be prouder to keep representing this club that means so much to me and my family.

"Eight amazing years already, the fans, the people, the passion, it’s in my blood now. Here’s to more memories, more fight, and more special moments."
