'I'm going to go': Ndiaye now chooses his favourite Everton moment to date, he was torn between …

Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye has named his goal against Brighton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as his favourite Everton moment to date – but it was a close call between that and another.

Iliman Ndiaye has proven to be a great signing for the Toffees so far since arriving from Marseille in the summer of 2024.

The Senegal international has regularly come up with impactful performances in the blue of Everton, establishing himself as a key player.

Up to now, he’s scored 16 times for the Toffees.

And in a new interview with Fotmob, the winger has selected his favourite moment so far in the blue of Everton.

The Everton number 10 has scored some great goals so far, and also some historic ones.

As we all saw, back in May Ndiaye was the final men’s player ever to score at Goodison Park. He was on target twice in the 2-0 win over Southampton.

Unsurprisingly, this was in contention for Ndiaye’s favourite moment.

In August, Everton played their first-ever game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium against Brighton, winning 2-0.

Ndiaye was the first scorer in that game – and he has labelled that effort as his favourite moment at the club so far.

He said: “It’s between scoring the last goal at Goodison Park and the first goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. I’m going to go with the first goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.”

If nothing else, Ndiaye will always be an Everton history-maker

Ndiaye has an extremely promising career ahead of him.

He is a fantastic player, capable of changing games in an instant and getting fans out of their chairs on a matchday.

He could well achieve a lot of special things in the future.

But it must be a great feeling knowing that he’ll forever be a big part of Everton’s history with his goals against Southampton and Brighton in the last game at Goodison and first at Hill Dickinson respectively.

Hopefully, he will create many more special memories at Everton before he leaves.
