Sources close to the agent network have told CaughtOffside that West Ham, along with Tottenham and Crystal Palace, have “initiated discussions” over a potential summer move for Antonio Rüdiger.
The 32-year-old German, currently in the final months of his Real Madrid contract, has seen his game time limited this season.
But his reputation remains untarnished — once described as “world-class” by former Germany teammate Jérôme Boateng — and clubs across Europe are watching closely.
Rudiger Has Premier League Experience
Rüdiger — now valued by Transfermarkt at just £10.5 million — joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2022, bringing his well-earned status as one of Europe’s most combative and reliable centre-backs.
Despite a slightly reduced role in Spain this season, his experience in domestic and European competitions makes him a highly appealing option for West Ham, who are keen to bolster their backline long-term.
At 32, Rüdiger may no longer be at the peak of his powers, but his leadership, versatility, and big-game experience could be exactly what West Ham need as they look to secure survival and build for the future.
