Liverpool team news ahead of the Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Liverpool look to keep up their charge of securing a Premier League top-five finish when they travel to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Reds have ground to make up in the race for Champions League qualification. Arne Slot’s side are sixth in the table, two points behind Chelsea and three adrift of Manchester United.
But with 12 matches remaining, Liverpool know the have plenty of time to bridge the gap - although they cannot afford many more slip-ups. The Reds head to Forest after deserved wins over Sunderland and Brighton - in the league and FA Cup respectively. They go to the City Ground with a full week to prepare and that is not something that Forest will be afforded.
Forest, who appointed Vitor Pereira as their fourth head coach of the campaign, have a Europa League knockout play-off first-leg tie against Fenerbahce in Istanbul. They will be hoping to avoid any more injuries, while Liverpool are again set to have depleted numbers.
Ahead of the game, here’s a look at the current injury situation for both sides.
Liverpool team news

The versatile Netherlands international is not expected to be available for another week as he continues to recover from a groin issue.
Wataru Endo - out
The midfielder faces a prolonged period on the treatment table after suffering an ankle injury in last week’s 1-0 win at Sunderland. Liverpool hope that Endo will be back before the end of the campaign.
Alexander Isak - out
The £125m British record signing has been making progress from his broken leg. However, it will be at least another month until Isak is ready to return, with Sweden boss Graham Potter hoping to have the striker available for next month’s World Cup play-offs. That remains to be seen.
Conor Bradley - out
The right-back is not expected to play again this campaign after sustaining a serious knee injury last month.
Giovanni Leoni - out
The centre-back will not play again for Liverpool this season after rupturing his ACL.

The midfielder has not made an appearance at any level after having hamstring surgery during the summer.
Forest team news
Chris Wood - out
The striker had knee surgery in December and won’t be available any time soon.
