Former Liverpool star Trent Alexander‑Arnold's latest touching tribute to the late Diogo Jota has been spotted by fans. The Portuguese forward tragically lost his life in a road accident last July alongside his brother Andre Silva, in the Zamora region of Sanabria, Spain.
Liverpool retired the number 20 shirt in his honour, and supporters continue to chant Jota's name during matches.
His memory is preserved in several ways, with both Anfield and Molineux – home of his former club Wolves – becoming places of remembrance for fans wishing to pay their respects.
Figures from across the football world came together to honour the two men after their tragic passing. A delegation of Liverpool players, led by [Virgil van Dijk](http://Virgil van Dijk) and Andy Robertson, attended the funeral in Gondomar, Porto. Van Dijk and Robertson carried floral tributes featuring the shirt numbers worn by Jota and Silva at their respective clubs.
Although Alexander‑Arnold had left Liverpool a couple of months before Jota's death, he never stopped paying tribute.
When he returned to Anfield as a Real Madrid player, he laid flowers and a heartfelt note dedicated to 'Forever 20,' describing Jota as a close friend who 'lit up the room.'

Eagle-eyed fans spotted that on the side of Alexander-Arnold's boots, the number 20 is accompanied by an infinite symbol.
Alexander-Arnold was seen wearing the boots during Madrid's 1-0 win in their Champions League play-off first leg with Benfica in Lisbon on Tuesday night.
