Leeds United return to Premier League action with a massive weekend trip to Aston Villa.Leeds United are back on their Premier League survival push this weekend and ahead of Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa, manager Daniel Farke will speak with the media today.Leeds spent last weekend in the Midlands securing their place in the FA Cup fifth round following a penalty-shootout victory over Birmingham City. A much-changed Whites side struggled at St Andrew’s but got the job done, drawing 1-1 in open play before a 4-2 victory from the spot.A fifth-round game at home to Norwich City was confirmed on Monday but with a few weeks until that meeting, full focus now returns to league action. And things don’t get much more difficult than a trip to Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa.Farke will be desperate to have Noah Okafor available for Saturday, with the winger forced off during last weekend’s win at Birmingham due to a hamstring issue. It was unclear at the time how serious the problem was and an update is expected to arrive today, following further assessment.Similarly, Daniel James missed the trip to St Andrew’s with a back complaint, having only just returned from a hamstring tendon injury that kept him out for three months. The Welshman had endured a difficult campaign fitness-wise and will hope for a change of fortunes starting this week.Leeds have also been managing two slightly longer-term absences in recent weeks, with Anton Stach and Pascal Struijk missing three and two games respectively due to hip problems. Farke will provide an update on both and any other issues - although hopefully that will be it on the injury front.Daniel Farke on Facundo Buonanotte debut & Lukas Nmecha formFacundo Buonanotte was fit to get a first Leeds start at Birmingham but undoubtedly struggled before being hooked at half-time. Farke could be asked about the January loan arrival’s first few weeks in West Yorkshire and how he plans to get the best out of a talented player who has lacked regular football. On the other side of the spectrum, Lukas Nmecha scored his seventh goal of the season with a brilliant finish at Birmingham. The back-up striker has contributed a goal or assist every 101 minutes this season and Farke will surely jump at the chance to heap praise on his free agent summer arrival.Read MoreApart from the state of his squad, Farke is likely to be quizzed on the relegation run-in with just 12 games of the Premier League season remaining. Leeds will have the chance to increase their six-point gap on West Ham, who host Bournemouth at 5.30pm, and can heap pressure on their rivals with a point or three at Villa.Doing so will not be simple, however, with Villa chasing a top-five finish while Leeds are yet to hit full flow on the road. Farke’s side have still won just one away Premier League game - a 3-1 victory at Wolves - and the Whites boss might be quizzed on plans to improve that record between now and May.Finally, Farke will likely be given the chance to share his thoughts on Villa who have overcome a slow start to the season to make a serious push for Champions League football. He’ll also definitely have nice words to say about his opposite number, Unai Emery.Daniel Farke will hold his pre-Aston Villa press conference at 1.30pm this afternoon. Follow live updates below...
