Jayden Bogle gives brutally honest verdict on Leeds United teammate – ‘Next level’

Jayden Bogle

This past summer, Leeds United spent over £100 million on transfers ahead of their return to the Premier League. It was known that the players that helped them seal promotion were not necessarily going to be regulars.

Leeds recruited quality all over the pitch, from goalkeeper to striker – brining in top players from across Europe. So far this season, most of the signings have adapted well to the team even if some took a longer time than others. The Whites are 15th place in the Premier League and at this point in time look like favourites to beat the drop.

Jayden Bogle speaks on Leeds United teammate

James Justin has been a great example of that this season; he has been a rotation option in the team, often deputizing for Jayden Bogle. Bogle has recently been speaking on the competition between himself and James Justin as the season has progressed.

“Big competition like there is all over the pitch, it’s healthy, it pushes each other to go to the next level and no matter whose playing, we approach each game to win it and pick up vital points.

“You can see from the moment JJ came in, he’s got massive experience, played a lot of games, and a lot of games at a Premier League level as well so he’s a great person to have, great person to play with, it’s been a joy.”

James Justin shows the 49ers got it right

Early in the season, some fans complained about why some signings were not getting playing time. Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and James Justin spent a fair amount of time on the bench in the first few months. But when they made their way into the lineup, fans saw what they were about. Bijol has cemented his place in the backline, and Bornauw has shown he is a quality backup.

James Justin has been very important in the team, when he plays in place of Jayden Bogle, the team does not lose much. His ability to play multiple roles including center back, make him very valuable. The 49ers made the right recruitment and have been slowly proven right as the season went on.
