Simply click this link to join our Burnley Express WhatsApp channel.Reflecting on the Mansfield cup upset almost a week on, Parker added: “It was definitely a comedown [after the Palace win] and it’s probably fair to say there was a little bit of a fallout.“It’s a game where, for sure, there was enough quality on the pitch to win the game but we didn’t manage to do that.“On reflection, of course it could have been a lot different when you look at it and it probably could have looked very much like the previous round [against Millwall] in terms of players playing and giving them their minutes.“The difference was and where we can be ultra critical, we lacked real quality at the final stages of it.“The game develops a little bit, you give them an option and at that moment we're hugely frustrated and disappointed with a result, certainly coming off the back of such a positive result against Crystal Palace.“I think we all understand where we are currently and I felt like we dampened that noise down. It was something we could certainly build on but that wasn't the case and we let ourselves down in terms of the result.“We let ourselves down in the final moments of the game when you need to put the ball in the net on three or four occasions with clear-cut chances.
