Liverpool have been linked with a surprise move for right-back Jayden Bogle, and the Leeds man has now responded to the rumours of interest.
Claim: Liverpool make Jayden Bogle ‘enquiry’
While Liverpool may have gone out and dominated the top end of the transfer market last summer, they are still a club built on finding gems and making them great.
Even so, when the name of Leeds‘ Bogle popped up, it came out of left field.
The Leeds Press website claims that Liverpool made a ‘serious enquiry’ for the 25-year-old right-back in January.

Bogle was asked by BBC Radio Leeds if he feels flattered when linked with big clubs. He replied: “No. Like I said, I’m just solely focused on what we’re doing this season and the goals we’ve got to achieve.”
Given Liverpool were looking for a makeshift right-back in the transfer window, it could be true that they considered the Englishman.
However, he isn’t a player that springs off the page as a potential Liverpool full-back!

With 10 of Liverpool’s key players’ contracts expiring in the next two-and-a-half years, the Reds must be proactive in their approach to renewal or, at least, lay their terms out early for an exit, writes Joanna Durkan:
“Talks are ongoing between Konate’s representatives and the club as he speeds towards the expiration of his current contract, a situation that also befalls Andy Robertson.
“The pair are the current priorities due to having only a number of months contracted to the club, but Liverpool cannot afford to take their eyes off who is next in line for a new deal.
“There cannot be a repeat of the Trent Alexander-Arnold saga.”
