Nottingham Forest thrashed Fenerbahce 3-0 at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, with Igor Jesus the star of the show.
Jesus scored the Reds’ second goal and added an assist for Morgan Gibbs-White as Forest put the seal on the victory in the second half.

The Brazilian was head and shoulders the best player out on the pitch for Forest for the best part of an hour before he was withdrawn by Vitor Pereira.
Despite his dominant performance spearheading the Forest attack, Jesus was offered some advice by former Arsenal hero Martin Keown after his first-half heroics.

It was hard to critique too much about the performance put in by Jesus, but Keown did offer him a small piece of advice to the Forest striker.
He believes that if he’s to take his game to the next level, he needs to improve his end product, and that is something that he showcased that he’s capable of against Fenerbahce.
He said on TNT Sports: “The only thing missing for Jesus this season, I think, has been the end product, particularly in the Premier League, but as you say, he loves this competition, clearly. He’s been brilliant.”

The attitude and application that Jesus has showcased this season have been second to none within the Forest squad and he’s one player who looks as though he cares about the football club.
Keown is right; his end product could do with some work. That said, the Reds striker put in the perfect performance against Fenerbahce, and he will now surely be Pereira’s top striker for the remainder of the season.
