Everton are being linked with a move to sign Saud Abdulhamid ahead of the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Toffees are monitoring Saud Abdulhamid along with Newcastle United.
Abdulhamid is on the books of the Friedkin Group-owned AS Roma, although he is currently out on loan in Ligue 1.
Where do you stand on Braiden Graham… would you give him his debut? 🎯

The 26-year-old right-back has made 18 appearances for Lens this term, registering five goal involvements.
If Everton do sign Abdulhamid, he would actually make history.
Saud Abdulhamid would be the first Saudi Arabia international to play for Everton
Across Everton’s 147-year history, they’ve never had a Saudi Arabian international.
Abdulhamid would become the first Saudi Arabian Toffee and, to go one further, the first player from his country to play in the Premier League.

Sami Al-Jaber is the closest Saudi player to achieving that feat, as he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Al-Hilal in 2000.

Abdulhamid is a completely different calibre of player, though, as he’s been operating in Europe’s top five leagues.
The 48-cap international has also played in the Europa League previously.
Nathan Patterson could be on the way out
With Everton showing an interest in Abdulhamid, it could indicate that they’re planning to offload Nathan Patterson in the summer.
Patterson has been linked with a move overseas over the last year or so, but the Toffees couldn’t sanction his sale without a replacement.

Moyes has never really fancied the former Rangers full-back, as he’s even preferred to play James Garner over him.
So, perhaps these final 12 games could be the last chance for Patterson to impress before a potential exit away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
