Anthony Gordon has committed his future to Newcastle United amid links to Arsenal and Liverpool.
Anthony Gordon has dismissed speculation linking him with a potential Newcastle United exit.
Eddie Howe once again named the England international as a striker against Qarabag - and was repaid with four goals. The first-half quartet took his tally to 10 strikes from nine Champions League games this season.
However, it has not all been plain sailing for Gordon in 2025-26. The 24-year-old has just three Premier League goals despite often being deployed as a No.9.

Anthony Gordon responds to transfer speculation
There have been suggestions that Liverpool - his boyhood club - or Arsenal could make an approach in the summer. As quoted by ChronicleLive, Gordon has laughed off suggestions he plans to leave Newcastle.
"About me?” Gordon replied. “I haven't seen them. What are they saying? It's the same old, same old. I think they just pick names out of a hat. They do. I haven't heard anything. They might want to tell me before they tell you (the media).
"I am focused on me and focused on the team, I am focused on right now. You look too far in the future and you start to underperform. And believe me I have done that (before) and I am not going to do that now."

“Then I had the transfer stuff. With PSR, I thought I was going to leave at some point in the window. It didn’t happen. I had to get my head around that to begin with (thinking he was going), and then to get my head around it again (when it didn’t happen) was hard.
“I’m a human being. It’s really difficult. That is why I understand what Alex is going through. I feel for him. He will be going through a lot. The club is going through a lot. I hope everyone gets what they want in the end.”
